New F-16 Sets Now Available....

We now have the Lightweight F-16A/B and early C gears and wheel wells available as companion sets to the already released Heavyweight version. These are changed to accurately represent the early style wells, struts and wheels. As is typical with our sets, cut-to-length stainless steel tubing is supplied to provide strength (these struts WILL hold the weight of the model permanently without deforming if assembled as per the instructions) and  mimic the oleo and retraction pistons remarkably well. Partial content shown at right.

This set has also been improved on slightly, based on the earlier release, with a lower parts count at no expense to details. The well is designed to fit snug in the Tamiya fuselage, but the instructions do need to be paid attention to, otherwise the wheel well assembly won't maneuver into place. The instructions point that out, and as long as there are no problems, installation is quite easy and yields a fantastic set of legs for your model. 

The set includes the main and nose wells, all with the required modifications that differentiate lightweight versions from the heavyweight ones, the struts, the gear doors and their (version specific) retraction struts as well as the smaller wheels.

The NSI Smallmouth intake is also now available and is a drop fit to the Tamiya halves. These provide an inexpensive, much less labor intensive alternative to the Tamiya F-16A and C Block 25, 32, 42, 52 airframes, all P&W powered airframes and eliminate the difficult to get at seam of the kit parts. These are completely independent of the wheel wells sets (specifically the nose well) and will accept both the kit nose well as as ours. Similarly, our well will fit the Tamiya intake or this item equally well.

The wheel well sets (both Heavy and Light) retail at $49.99US. These include the wheel wells, strut assemblies, all gear doors and wheels. Each of the intakes, Small and Bigmouth, retail for 14.99US. Generally, European customers from within the EU will have their orders mailed to them from within the European Union, so no additional expenses are incurred.
